eCollege recently partnered with Cdigix, the leading provider of rich digital media services to higher education. For students in eCollege courses, the agreement provides an enhanced learning experience through greater access to digital class resources.
The C-Labs Enterprise Edition, the digital library service from Cdigix, allows colleges and universities to easily deliver, manage and access digital content, including full-length films, videos and audio. Universities using C-Labs, for example, can provide access to an online audio laboratory to students in foreign language classes, giving them flexible and on-demand access to vital resources for their classes.
“Our primary goal is student achievement,” said Matt Leavy, Chief Executive Officer of eCollege. “This partnership will enhance our customers’ online learning programs, making for a more successful learning experience for students and educators alike.”
“We are pleased to partner with eCollege and look forward to providing online administrators, faculty and students with greater access to on-demand class resources,” said Larry Jacobson, CEO of Cdigix. “Working together, we can help educators enrich the teaching and learning experience through an ever-increasing availability of resources, improving student performance and success in online learning.”
The integration between C-Labs and eCollege allows eCollege students and faculty quick access to C-Labs’ library of resources directly from the eCollege content management system. Through a single, sign-on integration, eCollege users can easily access course-assigned media through the C-Labs platform without re-entering login credentials. C-Labs digital files will appear as links in eCollege courses—allowing students to simply download audio and video files to be played immediately, or saved for offline use.
