Building an Interactive Community of Online K-12 Learners
eCollege and Gwinnett County Online Campus will host a live Webinar on January 29 at 12 p.m. (MST). The Webinar will demonstrate how Gwinnett County has leveraged the ClassLive Pro™ online-conferencing tool to build interactive learning communities among K-12 students.
Cheryl Mitchell, from Gwinnett, will explain how ClassLive Pro can enhance online courses by implementing synchronous conferencing, live demonstrations, interactive lectures, recorded lectures and application sharing. Each of ClassLive Pro’s functions and features will be demonstrated.
ClassLive Pro is a live, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and video conferencing tool for the eCollege platform. This fully-integrated solution allows online instructors to see and hear their students in an entirely virtual classroom.
The nation’s largest district-level K-12 online school, Gwinnett County Online Campus, uses ClassLive Pro’s Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and video capabilities to engage high school students who enroll in its online learning program. Rather than participating in an isolated learning environment, the students in Gwinnett’s fully online classes see and hear their teachers on the first day of class.
Cheryl Mitchell will discuss how Gwinnett’s use of this unique solution brings online courses to life. The demonstration will include examples of Gwinnett’s best practices for synchronous learning and conclude with an open question and answer period.
