    • SUMMARY
      The Accounting & Finance Manager is responsible for internal financial reporting, business analysis, budgets, forecasts and assisting in implementing and updating financial software. This position will be responsible for monitoring and managing financial matters for assigned departments in a Business Unit Manager role, providing support to senior management for strategic and commercial decisions. The Accounting & Finance Manager will assist in maintaining the general ledger, accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P) processes. 

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

      • Execute and monitor all internal financial reporting, including monthly BOD package;
      • Assist responsible for monthly close of G/L, including coordination of accruals for other dept expenses with respective business managers;
      • Maintain accounting systems including: Oracle, Solomon G/L, FAS Fixed Assets & FrX Reporting systems;
      • Lead contact for other departments when they have questions for accounting department;
      • Provide guidance & supervision to A/R and A/P staff on processes and procedures and proper accounting;
      • Lead budgeting and forecasting process;
      • Initiate research for variances from budget and other special projects, as requested;
      • Responsible for maintaining and executing the internal control policies and accounting procedures that have direct impact on general ledger;
      • Monitor Project Accounting for student fees once fully implemented.

  • Revenue Manager

    • SUMMARY
      The Revenue Manager is responsible for analyzing and evaluating the accounting and financial reporting impact of various and complex revenue transactions involving the sale of software and services.  This position is responsible for ensuring the integrity of revenue by providing technical advice, analytical expertise and guidance on improving processes and controls.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

      Duty or Responsibility
      • Serve as internal expert and technical reference on revenue recognition matters
      • Work with various business partners in sales, legal and operations to structure transactions in accordance with accounting guidance
      • Communicate impact of terms that are unusual or prohibitive to revenue recognition and offer business partners alternative structures
      • Provide financial and analytical analysis around revenue such as pricing
      • Be a liaison between operations and accounts receivable to ensure billing contract terms are being adhered to and that invoicing is occurring in a timely manner
      • Provide guidance and input into the budgeting and forecasting process in terms of revenue
      • Serve as a team lead for revenue recognition in terms of system implementations and upgrades
      • Assume an active role in periodic reviews and internal audits with emphasis on revenue recognition

      The Revenue Manager will manage the overall revenue process, from initial contract billings through revenue recording and reporting. The incumbent has no direct personnel management responsibilities.

  • Help Desk Technician (Customer Service Rep)

    • SUMMARY
      This position is responsible for assessing and answering all technical related issues from users via e-mail and phone.  They will ensure all levels of users, from Educational Partners to students who have never used a computer, are receiving quality assistance from eCollege and the highest level of customer service.

      Bi-lingual or multi-lingual abilities are a definite plus (Spanish, Portuguese, E. European, Asian).

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
      • Answers all incoming e-mails (30%) and phone calls (70%) to the ability that their level of knowledge can accommodate
      • Administers the highest level of customer service attainable by providing complete and accurate answers to questions and treating customers with respect
      • Researches all system/user issues assigned using resources of other departments as needed
      • Ensures that questions and requests are answered in the one-hour time limit that has been set for the Help Desk

    • SUMMARY
      A Development DBA I administers SQL Servers and their databases in a software development role.  The primary responsibility is to coordinate physical changes to development databases.  The incumbent codes, tests, and implements the physical database.  The DBA is also responsible for maintaining the database in good working order and performing tasks necessary to ensure continued growth and stability of the database.

    • The Product Manager ensures achievement of strategic revenue objectives for a specific eCollege product or product family by identifying customer needs and executing solutions to meet those needs.   This person plays a proactive role in product planning and design to ensure the product is differentiated from competitors’.  They are involved with the product throughout all stages of life cycle (idea, definition, development, release, and post-release activities).  This person is the product advocate while representing the needs of the marketplace within eCollege.

      • Management of product initiatives related to the administration and structure of the online campus.
      • Manages the initiative process through ideas, definition, and market deployment including all communication and training to internal and external stakeholders;

      • Performs cost benefit analysis for new product offerings and for changes to existing products;

      • Performs market analysis and competitive analysis, communicating the competitive analysis to the internal stakeholders;
      • Maintains close relationship to customers for awareness of customers’ needs and perspectives;
      • Maintains close relationship with all internal stakeholders at eCollege – Client Services, New Business Development, Account Management, Help Desk, Course Development, and IDCs in order to communicate the product roadmap & upcoming releases, as well as gather feedback on customer and prospect needs;

    • SUMMARY
      The Sr. Systems Integration Engineer is directly responsible for troubleshooting, configuring, and reviewing code.  The incumbent is also responsible for resolving code issues and/or elevating the issues to the appropriate department.

    • SUMMARY
      The Performance Testing Engineer III is responsible for performance and load testing developed products using Load Runner to ensure they meet design specifications and are within eCollege standards.  This includes analyzing, testing, and resolving technical issues.
